Micro Epsilon Color Sensor Systems

Color sensor system consists of CFS color measurement sensors and CFO color measurement controller.

The CFS color sensors are designed with robust glass fiber optics, offering high mechanical resistance and tolerating harsh operating environments. The compact sensor head allows measurement into areas where space is restricted. Multiple options of CFS sensors are available to measure different types of surface, such as glossy surface, metallic surface, transparent and translucent surface. The new reflex sensor CFS4 also allows the distinction of different kinds of materials such as stainless steel, zinc, aluminium, brass, gold or other colored objects.

The CFO color measurement controller is used in conjunction with the CFS color sensors. The CFO controller offers high percision, high speed color measurement for automation and production environment. It has up to 8 switching outputs and can be integrated in ProfiNET, EthernetIP or EtherCAT via Modbus Gateway.
