EM-200-29 Hybrid planetary gear set

The Consulab EM-200-29 is a training board designed based on Toyota Prius hybrid vehicle to assist instructors in teaching complex operation of a typical drivetrain in a hybrid vehicle using a power split device. It offers visualization of driveline components during operation including internal combustion engine, motor, generator and drive wheels. Students will have to practically engage and be involved with the operation of the driveline such as turning hand cranks or holding devices. This allows them to gain additional learning exposure to help understand the operation of these components in all vehicle modes.
