The Meggitt 6243M8 and 6243M9 piezoelectric accelerometers are primarily used for measuring vibration in a very high temperature environment such as aircraft and ground-based gas turbines. The accelerometers are lightweight and compact in size, which makes it easier to install them in cramped locations with minimal structural support. The accelerometers feature Meggittt’s MC2 shear mode crystal along with a sensitive axis and a high temperature softline cable. The output is terminated through a 10-32 coaxial receptacle.
