HFN1 Friction on an Inclined Plane

The HFN1 Friction on an Inclined Plane teaching equipment is designed to help students understand the basics of mechanical friction. The experiment hardware consists of a ground steel plane that can be locked in any angular position within ±45o., two composite slider trays, load hanger, cord, and weights sets. With the help of an instruction manual, students can perform experiments that allow them to measure the force required to move a body up an inclined plane. The HFN1c Optional Tray mounted on bearings, HFN1f Optional Slider trays in PTFE, TUFNOL, and WOOD are the optional units that can be supplied with HFN1 equipment.
