Tactilus Equestrics – Surface Pressure Mapping for Horse Saddle

The Tactilus Equestrics sensor is a system used to achieve the best saddle fit to any horse and rider. It incorporates the latest algorithm and technology in surface pressure mapping to evaluate a horse’s back for symmetry and potential sore spots to determine the most suitable saddle tree type, tree width, panel shape and depth for his back.

The Tactilus sensor system utilize the matrix-based tactile sensor that comprises of tiny sensing cells to cover the entire surface area of the system for discrete pressure analysis of any point in the contact region. Therefore, it provides real-time data that precisely show where the pressure points occur between the saddle and the horse.
