Open Standpipe Piezometer

The Encardio Rite Open Standpipe Piezometer Model EPP-10SP monitors water levels in observation wells within soil or rockfill. The open standpipe piezometer is used to measure groundwater levels and track their variations over time. This device consists of a pipe sealed along its entire length and installed in a borehole, with its bottom end open to water flow and the top end open to the atmosphere. The intake section features a slotted pipe wrapped in geotextile material to prevent soil particles from clogging the borehole. The depth to the water level in the standpipe is measured by lowering the Model Open Standpipe Piezometer Water Level Sounder, also known as a dipmeter, into the pipe. The water level sounder probe is lowered from the surface using a flat cable with precise markings for taking measurements. The water level in the borehole or well corresponds to the water table at that specific location.
Depends on range of EPP-10/6 dipmeter being used
