4A Convention Vacuum Sensor

4A convention vacuum gauge, also known as a thermocouple, TC, Pirani, or convection vacuum gauge, indirectly measures absolute pressure by detecting the thermal dissipation of a filament. It is a fast, robust, contamination resistant, and high accuracy low vacuum pressure gauge due to the Pirani filament design. It is a compact, low-cost gauge with a filter available for highly contaminated environments. 4A is well suited for applications such as heat treating & vacuum furnaces, thin-film deposition & coating processes, semiconductors, e-beam welding etc. This sensor is available in stainless steel and nickel-plated brass with a variety of flanges and fittings to meet the requirements of your vacuum system. The 4A convention vacuum gauge is RoHS compliant and can be operated by several Televac® controllers and active gauges.
