8655 – Compact contactless rotating torque sensors

Burster 8655 is a compact rotating torque sensor constructed with standard square drive. It uses the strain gauge principle to record torque. The signals are transmitted via inductive and optical transmission and are digitized directly on the shaft and made available by the evaluation electronics as a voltage signal or via USB. Due to the standard square design, the sensor can be easily integrated into existing systems or devices. It doesn’t require any additional coupling to operate. Typical applications include monitoring and regulation of screwing processes, quality monitoring of tools and machines and machinery and plant engineering.
