Attitude and Heading Reference System (AHRS) and Global Positioning System (GPS) are commonly used in commercial and business aircraft for proven records of high reliability. Comparing to an IMU (inertial measurement unit), AHRS provides SOLVED attitude and heading solutions via its on board processing system whilst IMU requires additional device to do so. Our AHRS/GPS-Aided AHRS have a common messaging protocol enabling a user to have a “common cockpit” to move up or down in performance without changing any software.
