GF series: Low elastic modulus strain gauges
The GF foil strain gauges are ideally suited for strain measurement on materials having low modulus of elasticity such as plastics. Designed with special grid pattern, these gauges exhibit reduced stiffening effect as well as the effect of Joule heat in the strain gauges. They are self-temperature compensated for materials having a thermal expansion coefficient of 50 or 70 x 10-6/oC.
