The HFC31 Combined Shear Force and bending moment teaching equipment is used for experiential learning of analysis of bending moment and shear force at a cut section in a beam. This two-in-one experiment equipment consists of an aluminum beam with a "cut" section formed by cutting the beam in two unequal lengths. Each beam is supported by vertical supports that can be moved to different positions along the length of the beam section. The setup allows the verification of equilibrium of vertical forces and moments. It enables students to observe and compare the experimental results with the result obtained from the theoretical predictions.
