The Machinery Fault & Rotor Dynamics Simulator is teaching equipment used to help students gain an in-depth understanding of rotor dynamics. It helps teachers to demonstrate vibration signatures of different machine malfunctions. Students can study and perform rotor dynamics experiments and study common machinery faults, such as balancing and resonance study.
In addition, the equipment has different bearing clearance selection and controllable lubrication oil pressure for the study of oil whirl and whip in fluid film bearings. The optional kits are supplied with the equipment for performing different in-depth studies and developing expertise in the diagnosis of industrial machinery faults.
