Vibration Calibrator

A vibration calibrator is an instrument that electronically simulates a variety of outputs from common types of accelerometers including that of proximity and velocity sensors. It can simplify troubleshooting, verification and calibration processes for test systems. After calibration is performed, the measurement system sensitivity is reported for the system. Calibration data is presented in a one-page certificate.

The vibration calibrator allows the user to adjust entire systems from transducers to measurement equipment. For calibration verification, reference test points are provided to verify the output of the internal sensor. The calibrator also enables the sensitivity calibration of the accelerometer or measurement system. which is performed by comparison to a NIST traceable precision standard accelerometer.
