Hydrogen Pressure Sensors

Bestech hydrogen pressure transmitters are designed with modified gold-plated diaphragm. As hydrogen has an extremely high material transmissibility, gold-plated diaphragm must be used instead of stainless-steel diaphragm to prevent hydrogen penetration through the diaphragm which may potentially results in measurement error and poisoning of the sensor materials.

Our intrinsically-safe hydrogen pressure sensors are designed with oil-based piezoresistive sensing technology to offer high sensitivity and zero-point stability. Part of the sensors that are in contact with the sensing diaphragm will be fully welded and metallically sealed to prevent the ingress of hydrogen. This design configuration also offers the user with ease-of-access to clean the sensors regularly with oil-free and grease-free solutions.

Key features:

  • Customisable measuring range of up to 1000 bar
  • Intrinsically-safe design
  • Gold-plated diaphragm
